ShareX Application Programming Interface

ShareX is free and Open Source! You can download it from the ShareX official website and once downloaded proceed to install ShareX and follow the steps below.

Adding UploadMe

  • Open ShareX
  • Click on "Destinations" and then go to "Custom Uploader Settings"
  • Click on "Import" dropdown and select "From Clipboard" (is on the column at the left) = (You can find the code below or here)
  • This will auto-fill all the required fields.

You will see that the information from the code block has been added to ShareX. Click on "Test" next to the "Image uploader" section. You should see something like this in the "Test result" log:

Account Uploads

Currently UploadMe only supports uploading images as a guest. All uploads via our API will appear on the API account. In the near future we plan to release our own Windows and Mac clients along with API v2 which will support account photo/album uploads.
